Why are these sold in cases of 120 pairs?
Because grip gloves are a consumable and sites get through them. The price shown is for the whole case, ex VAT, and the pair count is in the product name. Smaller packs exist in the specialist lines, but for general handling the case is how the trade buys.
Foam latex, double dipped or plain?
Plain latex gives the cheapest reliable grip for dry handling. Foam latex traps a little air in the coating, which improves grip on oily surfaces and stays flexible. Double dipped puts a second coat on the palm for abrasion, which is what you want on block, brick and rough timber. Thermal versions add a lined interior for outdoor winter work.
What do the EN 388 numbers mean?
Four digits in fixed order: abrasion 0 to 4, blade cut 0 to 5, tear 0 to 4, puncture 0 to 4. After them comes a letter A to F for cut resistance measured by the straight blade TDM test, and a final P only if the glove has been impact tested. Use the numbers for a rough sort and the letter for the decision.
