Do hi vis trousers make my kit Class 3?
They are what usually gets you there. EN ISO 20471 awards a class on the total certified area you are wearing, so a Class 2 top on its own is Class 2, and the same top with certified trousers reaches Class 3. Highways and rail work normally specifies Class 3.
What is the difference between band trousers and 2-tone?
Band trousers are hi vis fabric throughout with reflective banding. 2-tone put the hi vis colour on the upper leg and a darker colour below, which hides site dirt far better and is the reason most crews prefer them.
Regular or long?
Supertouch list them as separate products rather than as a size option, so check the product name carries the leg length you want before you order.
