Skechers Workwear — common questions

Straight answers about what we stock, how it is sold and which standard applies.

Are Skechers Workwear shoes safety footwear?

Most of this range is occupational footwear to EN ISO 20347, which means no protective toecap. A smaller number are certified to EN ISO 20345 with a toecap. Check the individual product, because the two look similar and only one will satisfy a site that specifies a safety boot.

What does slip resistant mean on these?

Slip resistance is certified separately as SRA, SRB or SRC, with SRC meaning it passed on both test surfaces. It is the reason this range suits kitchens, healthcare, retail and warehouse floors.

Are they comfortable for a full shift?

The cushioned midsoles are the point of the range, which is why it sells to people on their feet all day rather than to construction. If the hazard on your site is a dropped load, you want a toecap and this is the wrong section.
