Why latex rather than PU or nitrile?
Latex grips hardest in the wet and takes rough handling, which is why it is the standard glove for block, brick and scaffold work. It is thicker than PU so you lose some feel, and it is not the choice around oil, which degrades it.
Do these contain natural rubber latex?
Latex coated gloves do, so they are not suitable for anyone with a latex allergy. Nitrile coated gloves are the direct alternative and are in their own section.
How are they sold?
