Mens Occupational Footwear — common questions
Straight answers about what we stock, how it is sold and which standard applies.
What is the difference between EN ISO 20347 and EN ISO 20345?
20345 is safety footwear and requires a toecap tested to 200 joules. 20347 is occupational footwear and has no toecap requirement at all. Everything in this section is 20347, so if your site specifies a safety boot, this is not the section you want. Safety Boots, Safety Shoes and Safety Trainers are.
Who is occupational footwear for?
People on their feet all day where the hazard is slipping and standing rather than crushing: security, facilities, hospitality, delivery drivers and some warehouse work. The Magnum ranges here are the patrol and uniform styles.
Are these slip resistant?
Slip resistance is certified separately and marked SRA, SRB or SRC, with SRC meaning it passed both test surfaces. Check the individual product for its marking rather than assuming.
